More Statesmen
As a nation we are in great need of more Statesmen and fewer Politicians… Virtually every issue becomes instantly politicized;our country has never been more polarized.
Political leaders, whether they be Republican or Democrat, forget that the vast majority of us have never, would never, vote a straight party ticket and that compromise is not a bad word.

Democracy?
This country has not been a democracy for too many years—we need our “representatives” to truly REPRESENT we the people.

No Complaints from Bystanders
We have the freedom to speak our minds and freely vote. Yes, it is a choice. But, you have no leg to stand on, when you sit back and do nothing. Use your voice - it is powerful. Whether I agree with you or not, at least you have done your part. Vote 2012!

I feel that it is past time for people to ride themselves of their blase’ attitudes and to stand for SOMETHING; if you don’t stand for something, you’ll go for anything. Try embracing selflessness, even if only for a couple minutes a day.

Stand tall, stand together!
One nation under all gods, indivisible as we stretch around anyone who speaks and work in ways to keep America flexible.

A Return to the Declaration
We need to remember that this nation began with these words: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that All men are created equal, and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, and among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Isn’t it time we return to One Nation, A Government by the people for the people, and that we all stand together united for this Great Nation? United we stand, divided we fall…but if our backs should ever be against the wall, we’ll be together!

America is an amazing country and, even with all we can find “wrong” with it now, it is still a place many aspire to be. There is still so much more to do to improve this great nation in our eyes & the eyes of other nations. Fear, hatred, & greed are powerful motivators and can cause us all to behave horribly.
I believe it is important for all nations to find a way to put those feelings away and focus on those that will create a better country and world:love, peace, acceptance, and the goal of unity.
No matter our beliefs, all of us have the same innate desires: freedom, shelter, sustenance, safety, & acceptance. My fervent hope & prayer is that we find a way to achieve these goals:)

Change
We need to be the change we wish to see. Vote out all politicians who only serve themselves. Our rights are being taken away on a constant basis and we have become apathetic. Our government no longer respects our freedoms and want to control us. They give themselves money and power while taking away our power little by little. Each time the Supreme court negates one of our contitutional laws our rights are being taken away. Our forefathers fought and died so that the power would be with the people and not government. This is where the people should stand up and be indivisible.
